Call for Team Members:
Hi! We’re forming a team for the upcoming Josei Jam 2024 to make a Ren’Py visual novel. Our visual novel is about Sage, a space explorer that crashes on a strange planet with cyberpunk cities. Waking up scared and alone, she discovered her arm had been replaced with a robotic appendage with a mind of its own. Play as Sage and navigate this strange futuristic cityscape trying to get off the planet. We envision two love interests (a female and male) and three body-horror themed endings.
So far we’re a programmer and character designer/writer.
We’re looking for:
- Artists for sprites, backgrounds, GUI changes (e.g. buttons, text-box)
- Programmers for Ren’py
- Sound designers
- Music composers
- UX Designer
- Writers
- Voice actors (to play 2 feminine roles, a masculine role, and an animal role)
If you're interested, my Discord is Ryudio. Would be happy to hear from you! Here’s a moodboard with colors, designs, and vibes: fashion on the left, vibes / aesthetics on the right.
Hello, I'm Claudio and I'm a writer + character designer happy to contribute to a project.
- While I can't draw to a caliber of sprites, I do design them, so whether you need me in tandem with another writer or artist to brainstorm things, or even the lead in the role, feel free to reach out and if I feel confident I can do it justice I'm game.
- If there is an idea for a story you need help bringing to life, I'm happy to help.
-Paid or unpaid is fine but appreciated nonetheless.

Hello! My name is Claudio and I am a writer/helm organizer of the visual novel in progress Equiem Once Loved that I hope to be completed sometime within the next 2-3 monthsThe premise of the game is a melancholic fantasy drama where an angel meets this researcher woman he meets in a cave. I would love to achieve a moody, gothic yet heartfelt art style for the game but I'm afraid my art skills are very barebones at the moment. I have the character designs mapped out, and I'm only asking for a select # of sprites and CGs as this is a no budget project for my first VN and I want to be mindful of everyone's workload on board. If you are interested, feel free to contact me either here or on my Discord ryudio alongside with the name you'd like to be credited as. Thank you for reading!
Hi Roly!
I am currently working with one other person on my visual novel: I am the writer / head director, they're the music composer, and we are looking for a sprite + CG illustrator! It's a fantasy drama romance involving an angel and a human researcher and it embodies a very melancholic / slightly gothic vibe if you would like some references? I already have the designs for the characters mapped out so if you would like more information + discuss reach out to me on Discord! My name is ryudio
So I’m intermediate / beginner as far as art art goes but I really want to bring this aesthetic to life as far as shading goes. Main issue is, shading is like a brick wall for my brain. I can attempt to do the actual spritework, but with references/inspirations, any skilled artists willing to help guide me into achieving a specific aesthetic for my game? Thanks in advance. Hi! I'm working on a fantasy drama with a mildly gothic aesthetic that I would love to work with composers on. Planned to be 3-4 hours tops, possibly even less, and with a qualitative over quantitative approach to the music - so 7-10 tracks max or even less. I would like the OST to range from somber to calming to even a bit horror-esque. I have categorized what specific purposes each track would serve as well so let me know if you're interested!
Good evening, Ubernaffa!
If you'd like, I'm more than happy to discuss the themes / plot / aesthetics of my story and see if you might resonate with it enough to make music for it. I plan for it to be around 3-4 hours max and possibly even less so at most no more than 7-8 tracks max possibly? You're more than welcome to discuss your prices as well.
